just a farm girl

Lets get started

I think it is safe to say that no one has an easy life. But I think that I have it pretty well-off. Growing up on this farm, in this environment strengthens you.

In reading this I want to share with you my life, my art, and my experience. My life is living on the farm and being a sister. My art is in photography. And my experience is in fostering.

My name is Kylie Klever, the oldest of an ever changing number. I have always loved being a sister. I can remember when my sister Kendall was born. I took the call while I was brushing my hair in the bathroom, standing on a stool, I can still hear my dad on the other line saying, “Kylie, you have a new baby sister.” I relive that moment every time we get a call to take a child into our home. The excitement and reality of having a new sibling. Its never easy let me make that very clear but there is a sense of doing the right thing that grabs hold of you.

We have been fostering now for almost five years. There have been many laughs and many tears but we are still here. Still trudging on. We adopted our four year old twins this last month on the 14th. It has been a struggle but nothing like the last 851 days it took to get us here.

If you just stumbling upon us and want to read more. Go read about what we are doing here. It is short and simple. You can also read our story.

Until next month. God bless.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back and everything is different . . .
